I started reading it as a fun and festive reading in December 2018, but I didn't finish it and didn't read it again until December 2019, a year later. This is a celebration story, divided into three stories, each with three novels. One is written in several chapters. Each story has its own characters and stories, and then they finally come together. Three stories, and then I will introduce each story in more detail and break them down. I am happy and annoyed that this is the first story in this book. I'm glad it's good and I like it, so this is a good start; it's annoying because the rest of the book sucks, because the other two stories don't really compare with this story. The Anniversary Express is a lovely story about a character he is at least somewhat interested in. I want to know what happened to him, this story is very fascinating, enough to inspire me to move on. A year later, the second story happened, and my 4-star rating dropped to 2. From the beginning of this story, I have no feeling for these incredibly flat characters. Each of them seems to have an overall personality. It's terrible, I keep shrinking, so I hate this story. I also hate the choice of language a few times because people call the only girl in history a "bitch" for no reason, which is obviously ignored, and the word "delay" is used. This made me so scared that I wanted to curl up like a little hedgehog, hibernating forever, away from the clutches of this forgotten story by God. Oh, and most importantly, I thought for a while, if I suspect that this girl's personality may be gay, there may be a positive moment. why not? Of course it is! Because this is the story of John Green! Of course, the girl fell in love with a boring, mediocre, lifeless male protagonist. That story was boring to read, and I was very close to DNF in the rest of the book, but I decided, "No, I have come a long way. I read this damn year. If it kills me, I will finish this damn book. The last story, this time is Lauren Miracle, is a bit more interesting than the boringness of the second story, but unfortunately it has no meaning and it doesn't add anything to the whole story. History, don't know why it must be there. I don't care about the ending, because I don't care about characters, stories or anything else. This story seems not very relevant. Although I don't hate reading it, I still want to know why I should read it. The ending tries to bring all the characters together and link all three stories together, but it feels rushed and a little bit meaningless overall. For example, this story broke all the qualities established by other writers in earlier stories and threw them directly into the ocean. I have read some great picture books, and some are not bad. The thing about the story is that you don't have a lot of time to create characters, but I read a lot of stories that are only 2040 pages long, but in the end I have a lot of sympathy for the characters. I don't have any feelings, which makes me no longer care about his story, his problems or his role. I am also a little disappointed. There are many ways to explore in three different Christmas romantic stories. All three seem to be pure white stories, which is a bit sad. There is plenty of room for good gay romance, but no.
